Hardwood floor fitting completed at a terraced house on Ridge Road in Cricklewood, NW2. The ground floor of this inter-war property had been stripped back to the original suspended timber subfloor, which was in good condition with only minor remedial work needed. We fitted engineered oak boards throughout the hallway, living room and through to the kitchen using a combination of floating and glued installation to account for the slight variations in floor level between rooms.
Cricklewood in NW2 is a mixed residential area of inter-war semis, Victorian terraces and newer apartment buildings. The older housing stock in the area tends to have suspended timber subfloors that are in reasonable condition — which makes them well suited to engineered hardwood fitting. Where solid wood is preferred, the timber subfloor provides good nail fixing.
We cover NW2 and the surrounding North West London area including Neasden, Dollis Hill, Willesden and Hendon. Our fitters are experienced in working in occupied family homes as well as investment properties, and we understand the importance of minimal disruption during fitting works. All rubbish and offcuts are removed from site at the end of each day.
We offer free surveys and no-obligation quotes for all hardwood and engineered floor fitting jobs across NW2 and North West London. Get in touch to arrange a visit.
